The origins of Puma 

Puma began its journey in 1924 when German brothers Rudolf and Adolf Dassler founded a shoe factory that specialised in sports shoes. Their sports shoe's popularity began at the Amsterdam Summer Olympics 1929 and most of the German athletes were sporting Dassler spikes, in 1936 Jesse Owens won 4 gold medals and several other world class athletes won bronze and gold and all were kitted in the Dassler spikes. The company continued its success and manufactured shoes for football as well. In 1948 Rudolf Dassler establishes the Puma Schuhfabrik Rudolf Dassler and registered the company, needless to say Puma have continued its success as we know and love it today. Puma's logo "forever faster" is a glimpse of the company's aim to be the fastest sports brand in the world.
