The origins of Bibbi Brown
Bobbi Brown cosmetics South Africa was founded by Bobbi Brown a renowned American famous personality makeup artist. In 1990 she worked alongside a chemist to produce 10 shades of natural lipsticks and in 1991 it was launched as Bobbi Brown Essentials which was later bought in 1995 by cosmetic giant Estee Lauder, however despite having acquired the Bobbi Brown Essentials range, Bobbi still controlled the makeup line bought over by Estee Lauder. 2007 Marked the beginning of more great achievements with the Montclair New Jersy store offering lessons to those looking to pursue a career in the makeup industry with the make up school located at the back of the store. In 2012 another milestone was reached as Bobbi Brown's makeup line made up 10% of the Estee Lauder cosmetic sales. Today Bobbi Brown cosmetics are sold in over 60 countries across the world in Bobbi Brown stores and at exclusive retailers.
