The origins of Sterns 

Sterns is part of one of South Africa's largest retail groups, The Foschini Group (TFG). Sterns was founded by an Austrian immigrant named Joseph Stern. In 1896, he opened the very first store in Johannesburg South Africa. Now with more than 115 years later the company still strives bearing the vision Joseph had for his store "with the combination of quality and craftsmanship, one can create the perfect piece of jewellery".
